It's that time of year again. I am always amazed at how fast our summer in the states flies by! When we get back to the states, many people ask me if I'm glad to be back, and I can honestly say that I am. Then, at the end of the summer others ask if I'm ready to go back down to Haiti, and again I can honestly say that I am. It is such a blessing to be able to say this! Knowing that we are doing God's will in serving the people of Haiti gives me such a peace no matter where I am.
Our summer was filled to the maximum with many fun activities, that mostly involved family and friends, and I am grateful for every minute of it. The summer is busy, yes, but it's a good kind of busy. :)
Now, one week away from heading back to our little place in the Caribbean, I know that it will go by in a heartbeat. I can only ask for your prayers as we prepare, both physically and mentally, this week!
